i actually recorded this over a month ago, but since it was so LQ, i definitely intend to “release” a final version (when i get the chance). the wide vocal range required to sing the song (somewhat adequately) made this song quite a challenge! well, i tried, at least! and, for some reason the volume fades down at ~1:30 and then returns back to full at ~4:00. i have no idea what happened…

although i have given up choir conducting at the church for my studies, the LORD has recently opened up the opportunity for me to continue improving my piano skills for His glory. several years ago, i started out as the church pianist, probably more out of obligation because we did not have a pianist at the time. however, it was not until i started choir conducting that i really fell in love with using music to glorify God. so now, i want to use my heart to make music that will bring tears to my Father’s eyes. not that i want to become THE BEST, but that He will refine my heart, so, then, the music will speak for itself - in purity & simplicity.

funny how it’s taken over a decade for me to arrive at this point, but, through all these things, i know that He is molding me into the person He wants me to become. i have come full circle…LORD, may the gifts from this humble servant of Yours be pleasing to Your ears and heart.

if i had not made the decision to trust in Christ’ plan for my life no matter what the cost, i would have missed out on the priceless opportunity to experience the power and extent of His love & grace. i now realize that He had prepared everything right from the start…even more so, His plan continues to reveal itself to me everyday!

although the price i had to pay was bigger than i had anticipated, the LORD is showing me that His grace is FAR GREATER!!
